I analyzed the article "Free speech must be protected of campus" and in the article he was using examples of past things that are related to it so that is i I plan to do. Also, he explained his point of view thoroughly using multiple detailed reasons and examples on why he thinks this way. I think that is a very good strategy to use in an argument and i plan on doing the same. The 3rd step i noticed is him using a serious tone and I plan to do that too to get the audience to agree with me

 employers should offer health insurance to thier employees. If they do, then that will motivate the employee to work harder and do a better job in order to keep the job, as opposed to working the same job without the insurance there would not be a benifit to make this job seem better than other jobs.

However, if it is offered, then some people might take it for granted and use it for bad advanteges.

One of my patterns of error is not having a strong enough thesis, I think they are always too narrow. Another one is organization, sometimes I put paragraphs in a place were they should be somewhere else. Also, I feel like I tend to get off topic a lot, which is of course not good because it will only bring down my grade. Lastly, wrapping it all up is sometimes difficult for me, I rarely know how to end a paper in a good way, the conclusion always gets to me.

The most thing I have enjoyed about my college experience so far is the freedom of the classes you get to chose as well as what you get to do with your free time. Also, the sources you have available to you to better your learning such as the numerous tutors for a lot of different subjects, or the people in the writing center that are available to assist you in case you need help with a paper that you are writing. One of the things I don't like about it however is the cost of it. I don't have financial aid so everything comes out of my pocket. Overall, i just want to focus and finish as fast as possible, that is everybodys goal anyway.

Free Speech Off Campus Must Be Protected

This article is about student named Amanda  Tatro  who attends the University of Minnesota. She got in trouble for posting some threats on her Facebook page that resulted in her failing the class and forced to take a psychiatric exam. The university is trying to argue that this doesn't fall under freedom of speech and the supreme court accepted it, but lawyers are trying to convince the judges that it does. The ruling will likely com out in the next three to five months, and if Amanda Tatro loses, she said she will appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court.
I personally chose this article out of the three because I'm not really into politics so i skipped the first one, and the one about the pigs made no sense to me, I found it hard to understand. So I thought this one would be the easiest one to work with and write a paper about

improvment

Since the begging of the semester, I feel like my writing did change a little bit. After looking back at my first blog, I could tell that I was a little careless at times. My goals for the class are closer to being met than before and that is due to the blog assignments and essays with all the reviews we have to do. I feel that the in-class writing we do is really helpful, the reason for that is because we get to write about the same topic but in three different forms or however the questions are based, which helps us expand the our views on a topic through writing. In my opinion, it wouldn't hurt to have more of it. I would say that my writing process changed in a way that I am more careful now and pay more attention to what I put down on paper as opposed to just writing down what ever in order to get the assignment done. Mostly because the assignments are really clear and i know what is expected from me.  So as a result, i would say my writing has improved since the beginning of the semester and i hope it will continue to be better throughout it as well.

There are a lot of differences between the literacy narrative and the ad analysis essay. The 1st paper is a personal experience while the 2nd one is something that is meant to be seen around the world, which makes the audience much bigger. Also, the purpose would differ to as the ad would try to convince people into there product while the narrative is trying to give a heads up to the reader on what they have done. In my narrative tone , i wasn't exactly trying to set a sense of fear but trying to warn the reader that a research paper is difficult and requires much time to do, and that's what the ad that i chose does, it tries to warn people and show how dangerous downloading music illegally can be. The genre is the same way, it can be described as fear and warning in both of them.

I have selecyed this ad to do my paper on. It is used to spread awareness of how dangerous it is to download illegal music. It is set out to people who of course do this act, trying to make them stop. As for the genre, it uses horror as a method so they are trying to send a sense of fear. the tone they are using is more of a scary tone to try and achieve what they are doing.
